About Henry Lawton Hall Jr

H. Lawton Hall Jr. has served as President of Regency Park Development since 2011. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Hall held a series of roles at AmericasMart Atlanta, also known as AMC, Inc. The 3-building, 7.7 million-square-foot trade show complex comprises 2,500 permanent showrooms and 20,000 temporary booths annually, offering a massive marketplace for the gift, apparel, and home furnishings industries.  Hall  joined the AmericasMart Atlanta team in the late 1970s and acted as the apparel division’s Vice President of Sales and Leasing from 1987 through 1993. In 1993,  Hall  received a promotion to Senior Vice President of New Business Development at AmericasMart Atlanta. Shortly after assuming his new position, Hall created the Home Accents & Fine Linen Center that launched with 100 percent occupancy in 1994, continuing to generate $4.8 million every year. At AmericasMart Atlanta, Hall  also created the Holiday & Home Accents Center in 1997, effectively consolidating the holiday and home accents industries into a single 500,000-square-foot area currently responsible for a $16 million annual revenue stream.  Hall advanced within AmericasMart Atlanta in 1997, accepting a position as Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing. During his decade-long tenure as Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. formulated and executed a calculated business strategy, ultimately increasing the overall revenues for selected centers by 100 percent and boosting occupancy by 16 percent. Beginning in 2003, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. vigilantly managed the massive 2.1 million-square-foot Apparel Mart, trained and oversaw seven salespeople, and launched the Fashion Accessories & Fine Jewelry Center and Gift & Resort Center in Atlanta. Under the expert leadership of Hall, AmericasMart Atlanta garnered recognition from the apparel industry as the strongest apparel trade show outside of New York City.  In 2001 Hall  also assumed responsibility for the AmericasMart Atlanta website, acting as Chief Operating Officer of AmericasMart.com. Within 2 years the web site’s revenue increased from a $16 million loss to a profitable division. Hall left AmericasMart Atlanta to found Regency Park Development, a thriving investment and consulting firm.
